Fayair is a corporate flight provider operating out of Stansted, with a reputation for quality, class and comfort. With customers who are accustomed to a level of service that’s more than a few notches up from “bog standard”, its airline lounges needed to be perfect.
To help people feel immediately at home in their surroundings, we focused on soft, ambient lighting concealed within coves and floor-recessed troughs. Linear uplights draw the eye through the lounge and illuminate the walls – enhancing the beautiful stone finishes and making the area feel larger. Even the most jetlagged of eyes will feel soothed by its non-intrusive warm glow and the sense of space after a long flight.
We did, admittedly, allow ourselves one extra-special (and slightly more stimulating) feature: our hand-designed bespoke chandeliers can be found at reception and in the VIP areas, and they provide an immediate sense of luxury.
